The project involves the installation of a new sheet pile line in front of the existing piles that have deteriorated significantly. The anchor ties are to be extended to support the new piles.

The top of the existing piles including the capping beam is to be removed and the new wharf surfacing cast over the top of the original pile line.

The new pile face will incorporate inset stairs to complement traditional ladder access down the piles to allow safer access for users.
