New Active Travel route to the new Ysgol Treferthyr primary school Criccieth and for public use

The new 430m shared-use path for pedestrians and cyclists provides a safe access to the new Ysgol Treferthyr primary school in Criccieth Gwynedd.

The scope of the work included the construction of a new footway and widening of existing sections to meet active travel guidance, new controlled crossing point and associated works. A new raised crossing point will be constructed on the Stad Gorseddfa junction adjacent to the Health Centre. The scope also includes improved crossing provisions and a high friction surfacing footway at Lon Fel Isaf.

The purpose of this active travel scheme is to provide safe access to the new primary school and for public use which also improve the travel routes towards the railway station.

Land negations, design and site investigation, stakeholder engagement, project management, tender assessment, site supervision and project delivery to construction.
